This is the privacy policy for Magana Casa(the “site”), operated by Brandon Magana. It explains what data the site collects, how it's used, and what rights you have. If anything here is unclear, email hello@maganacasa.com.
What this site collects
Magana Casa does not set tracking cookies, run analytics scripts, embed third-party pixels, or maintain user accounts. There is no newsletter signup or contact form.
The only data routinely collected is the standard server log information that every website on the internet receives: your IP address, the URL you requested, your browser user-agent, and a timestamp. This is handled by the site's hosting provider (Vercel) and is used for security, debugging, and basic traffic measurement.
Third parties
A few services help the site run. Each has its own privacy policy:

- Sanity — stores the content of posts and delivers images. sanity.io/legal/privacy
- YouTube— if you click the YouTube link, you're leaving this site and YouTube's policies apply. policies.google.com/privacy
Affiliate links
Some posts and the Resources page include affiliate links — meaning if you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Posts containing affiliate links are marked with a clear disclosure at the top. The affiliate program (e.g. Amazon Associates) may set its own cookies and track your click; that's governed by the affiliate network's privacy policy, not this one.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies of its own. The hosting provider may set a transient session cookie for security reasons. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California) to:
- Know what personal data is held about you.
- Request a copy of that data.
- Request that it be corrected or deleted.
- Object to processing or withdraw consent.
Because this site does not collect personal data beyond server logs, in practice there's very little to access or delete — but if you'd like to make a request, email hello@maganacasa.com and I'll respond within a reasonable time frame.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone in that age range. If you believe a child has provided personal data, email me and I'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for instance, if I add analytics, a newsletter, or a contact form — I'll update the date at the top and note the change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
